Coalition of Trades (including IPANM) Stop Anti-Fossil Fuel NHTSA Nominee


IPANM was part of a coalition of state and federal trade associations was successful in stopping the confirmation of Ann Carlson as head of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

The Senate Commerce Committee indicates that the coalition played a key role in achieving the withdrawal of a nominee who intended to use her position to try to bring about the demise of the internal combustion engine and by extension, our industry.
