Dear Members,
Given the political noise of the past year, it has become clear to our Executive Board and I that our focus for 2019 IPANM Annual Meeting should cut through the clutter to simply face the nuts and bolts issues facing independents this year. Thus, we’ve made ‘Addressing Operator Needs in 2019’ our theme for this year’s gathering.
We plan to offer substantive information and relevant conversations on our issues. Our Keynote Speakers will offer insight into the importance of Oil & Gas communication and new media. We will have experts who will discuss oil & gas market trends, the important roles of various industry trade associations, new approaches to produced water, and a deep dive into what’s on the horizon with a new methane rule. We will also hear directly from our regulators, including federal policymakers, key state legislators, the state land commissioner and the state’s energy and environment secretaries. In short, this year’s Annual Meeting will offer high-value for our attendees. But, there’s more…
Our Annual Meeting wouldn’t be complete without great events and networking opportunities. Our happy hours and receptions will be top-notch thanks to many generous sponsors who are already on-board. Likewise, I am very excited about some new, fun aspects that have been added to our Annual Golf Tournament. We are also planning a Wine Tasting for non-golfers (and, we’re looking for a sponsor for this fun event!)
So, the countdown is on for our 41st Annual Meeting. Now, we simply encourage our members to register, and to encourage non-members to check us out at our best. Likewise, please help us continue to bring more sponsors to our event. Thank you to all those who have already added their name to our sponsor wall.
So, enjoy this edition of the Independent. It’s packed with Annual Meeting information! Read our important member updates. Listen to our Executive Director’s excitement about the meeting on a recent podcast. And, join me to witness the year-long planning efforts come together for what will be very successful event.
Regards,
John
