For them, $5 gas is an opportunity to satisfy environmental interest groups and advance their radical political agenda, all while feeling morally superior. What is needed now is the reinforcement of the importance of being good stewards of our natural resources and championing policies that actually preserve the environment – without suffocating Americans.
