Santa Fe New Mexican & IPANM (May 7, 2021) – A new state emissions rule would impose tougher standards on oil and gas operators and drastically reduce ground-level ozone that can cause respiratory problems or aggravate existing ones, New Mexico regulators announced Thursday. But, the industry group IPANM argues that marginal wells and small operators would be disproportionately impacted.
