IPAA – A new study released by the Independent Petroleum Association of American shows that 90% of the United States oil and natural gas activity is and will continue to be performed by U.S. independent oil and natural gas companies. The 90% encompasses everything from large independents to small independents to small private companies, accounting for approximately 2,200 total companies operating in the Unites States.
