A New Day at IPANM
State revenue from oil and gas activity soared to a record $3.1 billion in fiscal year 2019, up 41% from the $2.2 billion generated the year before, according to the latest annual report from the New Mexico Tax Research Institute. Industry-generated income accounted for 39% of all general fund revenues, the highest share in recent history.
IPANM's Annual Wildlife in the Oilfield contest has become our most popular annual event and the most popular webpage on this site!
Feel free to submit any new photos that showcase wildlife adapting and benefiting from manmade changes in the oilfield.
The 2019 New Mexico Legislative Session ran from Jan. 15 to Mar. 16, 2019 in Santa Fe.
IPANM actively lobbied legislators and made dozens strategic public comments at legislative hearings on behalf of our members. But the work is not over. IPANM continues to represent members at interim committee meetings and in stakeholder groups throughout the year. Join IPANM to get active in these key meetings!
